1863-1878 Seven parts in seven. ca. 1300 p., 19 lithographed plates, 4to, disbound (no covers). A major achievement by Henri de Saussure on Orthoptera, Phasmatodea and Blattaria. Several groups are revised and many new taxa are described and figured. Because it was printed over a long period of time and several issues of the society's (Société de Physique et d'Histoire Naturelle de Genève) Mémoires, the pagination is irregular, but all the plates are numbered consecutively. A few plates and text pages with some light spotting, one plate with repairs to the margin, otherwise a very good set. Complete sets as these are very rare. Horn-Schenkling, 18945; Nissen ZBI, 3598.
