Important publication with a world-wide scope, on this large group of wasps. Part I deals with the tribes Ophionides and Metopiides; II contains the Rhyssides, Echthromorphides, Anomalides and Paniscides; III Pimplides and Bassides; and IV contains the Joppides, Banchides, and Alomyides. Single parts are common, but a complete uniform set like this one is more difficult to obtain. Former owner's inscription on front flyleaf, minor rubbing to covers, otherwise a fine set.

With a 28 page list of the publications of the British Museum (Nat. Hist.) bound in the rear. Bookplate on front paste-down, spine sunned, a few spots, otherwise a good copy.

Outer ends spines with some wear.Important catalogue of the British Ichneumonidae by the Suffolk entomologist Claude Morley (1874-1951) with extensive descriptions and fine illustrations. Privately published over a long period, this work is scarce in a complete state. Library ex libri / book-plates on front paste-down (volumes II-V), small library stamps on title page verso, recto (volume I), repair to upper and lower end of spine volume I, otherwise a good set.

Outer ends spines volumes II-III with somewhat worn.Important catalogue of the British Ichneumonidae by the Suffolk entomologist Claude Morley (1874-1951) with extensive descriptions and fine illustrations. These are the first three volumes of this work which was privately published over a long period. Library book plates on front paste-down, stamp on title page of volume I, boards rubbed with some damage to the hinges. A few pages a bit spotted, contents otherwise good. The BM(NH) only quotes three volumes, as in this set.

1904-1907 esearches on North America Acridiidae [AND] Further researches on North America Acridiidae. Two parts in one. 109 [55, 54] p., a few text figures including a map, 17 plates, contemporary red morrocco over marbled boards. Original printed wrappers bound in. Speckled edges.Two systematical studies with a visual emphasis on habitats (the photos show landscape and habitats). It is unusual to see both papers combined. Binding rather worn, frond board starting, preliminary pages a bit age-toned, otherwise a good copy.
Fixation of single type (lectotypic) specimens of species of American Orthoptera.
1915 11 p., disbound (no covers). Sixty-five taxa are discussed, mostly from the Morse collection in the ANSP, but also including several species from other museums, viz. MCZ, AMNH, Cornell Uiversity, and the Hebard collection. Published in the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadephia's Proceedings. Uncut. A good clean copy.
