Privately published over a long period, this work is scarce in a complete state. Library ex libri / book-plates on front paste-down (volumes II-V), small library stamps on title page verso, recto (volume I), repair to upper and lower end of spine volume I, otherwise a good set.

Two parts in one. 109 [55, 54] p., a few text figures including a map, 17 plates, contemporary red morrocco over marbled boards. Original printed wrappers bound in. Speckled edges.Two systematical studies with a visual emphasis on habitats (the photos show landscape and habitats). It is unusual to see both papers combined. Binding rather worn, frond board starting, preliminary pages a bit age-toned, otherwise a good copy.
1915 11 p., disbound (no covers). Sixty-five taxa are discussed, mostly from the Morse collection in the ANSP, but also including several species from other museums, viz.
