‎Atchugarry's vader, ook kunstenaar, bracht hem de liefde voor het vak bij. Niet zonder resultaat: Pablo hield zijn eerste solotentoonstelling in Montevideo (Uruguay) toen hij pas 18 was. Hij ontwikkelde zich niet enkel als kunstschilder, maar ook als gevierd kunstenaar met materialen als cement, hout en metaal. Vandaag is zijn werk in tal van verzamelingen vertegenwoordigd. In Lecco (Italie) heeft hij zijn eigen museum. In 2002 ontvangt hij de Michelangelo Award als erkenning voor zijn artistieke loopbaan; een jaar later vertegenwoordigt hij Uruguay op de biennale van Venetie. ‎In 2021 rondde Yannick Wijnants (Atelier Herkenrode) de restauratie af van de zogenaamde 'Peter Benoit-piano', een concertvleugel van de firma Pleyel, Wolff & Cie uit 1884. Dankzij de restauratie kunnen muziekliefhebbers, voor het eerst in decennia, opnieuw kennismaken met de warme klank van dit schitterende instrument. Sinds de piano in 1895 in Antwerpen arriveerde, heeft hij bovendien een intrigerende band met een van Vlaanderens beroemdste componisten: Peter Benoit (1834-1901). ‎Theodoor Rombouts (1597-1637) was een gevestigde waarde in het Antwerpse kunstenaarsmilieu van zijn tijd. Na zijn artistieke opleiding bij Abraham Janssen migreerde hij aan het begin van de 17de eeuw naar Itali . Daar liet hij zich inspireren door de revolutionaire schilderkunst van Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio en diens belangrijkste navolgers uit Itali , Frankrijk en de Lage Landen. Terug in Antwerpen ontwikkelde hij een geheel eigen artistieke identiteit. Rombouts wist invloeden uit Noord en Zuid op virtuoze wijze te versmelten en specialiseerde zich succesvol als caravaggistisch figuurschilder in monumentale genrevoorstellingen. Rombouts' huidige relatieve onbekendheid staat in schril contrast met het respect en de waardering die tijdgenoten als Peter Paul Rubens en Anthony van Dyck voor hem als schilder hadden.
