His reputation rests on his first-hand accounts of such conditions as the malarial fevers of his times, gout, scarlatina, measles, etc.". (Garrison N° 63 latin ed.) ---- Heirs of Hippocrates N° 554 : This work translated in 1742 from latin by John Swan, contains not only Sydenham's Methodus curandi febres but a number of his other works as well.
