Gilt borders on covers, gilt inside borders. All edges gilt. Spines a bit faded. Slightly rubbed along edges and on a few compartments. Illustrated throughout with 204 large fine engraved vignettes. In all more than 4000 pp. Light browning to a few quires in vol. 6, otherwise clean and fine.
A very attractive copy of Heyne's noted and renowned editon of Virgilius in the illustrated version.
