Bindings severely damaged with loss of leather and very worn corners, turn in gone, interiors fine with only some marginal paper damage repaired at the last leaves of volume II (no loss of text). Nothwithstanding the binding which does not look good still a crisp and very acceptable copy . On the halftitle ; the holograph ex-libris of Henry William Henfrey , dated 1872 ( in both volumes).
