Das kleine Märchentheater: Die wunderschöne und abenteuerliche Geschichte von Prinzessin Sammetweiss und Ritter Piep
Lucerne Triton-Verlag [1949] Première édition. Un rare exemplaire du théâtre en mouvement de Tschudi. Un Suisse allemande livre d'images avec des images animées colorées à la main. Musique de Paul Burkhard, décors et costumes de Fritz Krumenacher. Livre relié avec cartonnage rigide. Image de deux souris tirant leur révérence sur scène. Il y a quelques marques et bosses sur les planches, mais dans l'ensemble, ce n'est pas grave. A l'intérieur, il y a des marques sporadiques. Page de titre rouge et noire. Il y a plusieurs pages de texte (avec des images en noir et blanc) et trois feuilles collées avec un disque circulaire à déplacer (donc six disques de théâtre différents à déplacer). Les scènes sur les disques sont peintes à la main. Un bel exemple, apparemment rare, de livre mobile. La reliure a été soigneusement réparée à l'endroit où les agrafes s'étaient détachées, de sorte que la reliure est maintenant solide. Le texte est en allemand. 12 pages. 25 cm x 18,5 cm. Nous n'avons pas pu trouver d'autre exemplaire de cet ouvrage en vente ou aux enchères. Il y a une entrée dans WorldCat / OCLC : 83714402. Un exemplaire de bibliothèque non identifié.
First edition. A rare surviving copy of Tschudi's moving theatre. A Swiss German picture book with moving hand coloured images. Music by Paul Burkhard and Stage sets and costumes by Fritz Krumenacher. Hardback with stiff card boards. Picture of two mice taking a bow on stage. There is some marking and bumping to the boards, but overall not bad. Inside, there is sporadic marking throughout. Red and black title page. There are several text pages (with black and white images) and three pasted leaves with a circular disc to be moved (so six different theatrical discs to move). The scenes on the discs are hand painted. A nice, and seemingly rare example of a moving book. There has been a neat repair to the binding where staples have pulled out, so the binding is now firm. Text is in German. 12 pages. 25cm x 18.5cm. We have been unable to find another copy of this work for sale or at auction. There is one entry in WorldCat / OCLC: 83714402. One unidentified library copies. .
