Charming label for a tea box, the central illustration being a standing woman serving tea to a seated Mandarin in a garden setting by the sea. The image is flanked by two Chinese dragons, each perched on a globe shaped vase under which is written Canton on one and Pekin on the other. The label features the identification No. 417

Color printed label intended to be fixed to a tea box. The left side features a colored illustration of a seated woman serving herself a saucer of tea from a small round multi-tiered table. The image is framed in turquoise with red printing, illustrated with bamboo plants, a heron and a suspended Chinese lantern. On the right side the text is printed in red and includes the phrase “Deux médailles d’or Nice 1892” as well as reproductions of the medals. Also noted : “Comptoirs d’achats Hong-Kong, Amoy, Fou-Tcheou, Sanghaï, Calcutta. Importation et Exportation”
