Livre relié, planches picturales et dos en tissu rouge. Les planches sont en bon état, propres, avec quelques frottements. Complet avec 15 planches chromo pleine page. Il semble que le livre ait été habilement réparé à un moment donné, car il a de nouveaux papiers de fin blancs, et une planche a quelques bords assombris et est coupée à une fraction de la longueur. Dans l'ensemble, l'ouvrage est en bon état, propre, avec seulement quelques rousseurs et assombrissements. Bel exemplaire. 34,5 cm x 25,5 cm. 64 pages.
First Edition. Nice copy of this illustrated natural history book for children, with chromo-lithographic plates. Hardback, pictorial boards and red cloth spine. The boards are in good, clean condition with a little rubbing to them. Complete with 15 full-page chromo plates. It looks as if the book has been skilfully repaired at some point, as it has new white end papers, and one plate has some edge darkening and is trimmed fractionally short. Overall, in good, clean condition, with some foxing and darkening only. Nice copy. 34.5cm x 25.5cm. 64pp. .
