‎Créateur en 1939 de la collection "Poètes casqués", puis éditeur de la poésie de la résistance pendant la seconde guerre mondiale, Pierre Seghers (1906-1987) poursuit en 1948 le travail de publication des poètes français et étrangers avec la collection "P.S.". A raison de deux parutions par mois, ce sont plus de cinq cents recueils inédits qui seront publiées dans cette collection qui fera de Pierre Seghers le plus important éditeur de poésie au XXème siècle. ‎
