Amsterdam, Andreas Frisius, 1671, in-12°, engraved title + with engraved vignette + (8) nn pp + 379 pp + (39)nn pp (index) + 26 engravings on paginated leaves and 5 engravings h.t. of which 3 folding. Bound with; Hieronymus Bossius; De Toga Romanus Commentarius. Idem, title with engraved vignette +(8)nn pp + 84 pp + (12)(index) nn pp, contemporary full calf, raised gilt back, some wear with lower turn in mising, faint waterstain at upper corner of pages 24-48. Some pre 1800 notes on the fly-leaves, with a modern bookplate of William Wale (1921). Still a good/fine copy. The first work is dedicated by the Amsterdam printer to his Antwerp collegue Balthasar Moretus. (De Backer-Sommervogel volume VI ; pp 1539 /54 ; Graesse VI, 430)."
