‎ 1907 Paris, Chevallier, 1907, Les 4 tomes des 4 ventes sont ici reliés en 2 volumes grands in-4 de 242 pp.+ 214 pp.+ 286 pp.+ 188 pp. (36 x 27 cm)., Texte et nombreuses reproductions photographiques en noir, reliure de l'époque de demi-chagrin bleu-nuit, dos à nerfs, dates en pieds, dans la 2e vente, quelques feuillets présentent des mouillures marginales, et 2 feuillets présentent en marge des déchirures avec manques sans atteintes aux reproductions photographiques ni au texte, sinon bon exemplaire.‎


‎Exemplaire bien complet des 4 ventes. Charles Sedelmeyer (Vienne 1837-Paris 1925 ), fut un marchand et collectionneur d'art franco-autrichien. Sedelmeyer devint marchand d'art à Paris dès 1866, et y créa sa propre galerie. Il vendit en 1901 une peinture d'autel de Raphael (Pala Colonna) au collectionneur J. P. Morgann. Le prix de ce tableau fut un record à l'époque. En 1893, il acquit le château d'Ambleville. Il termina son activité en 1907, et environ 1000 peintures qui formaient la collection de sa galerie furent vendues aux enchères en quatre ventes. ‎
