Exceedingly rare first edition of these three plays by Romagnesi, French playwright, librettist and actor. He was born in Namur, in present-day Belgium, and moved to Paris where he became involved in the world of theater during the early 18th century. Romagnesi was known for his parodies, bouffonneries and harlequinades of which these three plays are fine examples. We have not been able to trace a single copy in the trade. Not in Brunet, Graesse or Tchemerzine.
