Leipzig, den Thomas Frischen, 1709, 1 volume in-12 de 175x110x45 mm environ, 1f.blanc, 1 frontispice, titre avec marque de l'éditeur, 2ff. 768 pages, 1f.blanc, pleine basane granitée brune, dos à nerfs, manque une grande partie de la pièce de titres et les dorures sont en partie effacées, tranches mouchetées de rouge. En allemand et caractères gothiques. Avec un frontispice et 7 planches horts-texte (sur 13), des lettrines et bandeaux. Un tampon et des notes manuscrites anciennes sur la page de titre et p. 247, des rousseurs, des pages brunies et mouillures marginales, coiffes ébréchées et début de fente sur un mors.
Eucharius Gottlieb Rink (11 août 1670 - 9 février 1745), était un juriste allemand, héraldiste, numismatique, conseiller impérial. Son nom est également orthographié comme Rinck, Rinckius, Rinkius. Il venait de la famille Rink von Dorstig, qui a obtenu un titre de noblesse au 15ème siècle.(Ouvrage de Propagande qui reprend le texte d'un almanach de cour au XVIIIe s. First appearance of this important issue of The Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters' Journal containing some of the most influential Danish contributions to science from the period: - Thomsen's ""Bidrag til et thermochemisk System"" undoubtly being the main contribution by a Dane in chemistry in the 19th Century.The paper from 1852 is famous as it is the first statement of a new thermochemical nomenclatura, and the paper contains the first enunciation of the thermochemical affinity principle, which states that chemical affinity, or the attraction between substances, can be measured by the heat evolved when bodies combine. His fundamental thought was that the evolution of heat accompanying a chemical reaction (which he calls 'varmetoning', equivalent to enthalpy change) is an exact expression of the chemical affinity of the reaction.- Colding's ""Undersøgelse over Vanddampene og deres bevægende Kraft i Dampmaskinen"" being his major contribution to the development of the steam engine.
