‎Rare Swiss travel work printed for private circulation, known neither by de Beer, Wäber BSL, Barth or Perret. Not even the Swiss national library or any other source looked up by us knows about this little work. The title page shows a funny citation of Byron: “'Tis pleasant then to see one's name in print - A book's a book although there's nothing in't”. Of course they visited mainly the Alpine regions and their glaciers. The full page wood engravings represent the "Monte Rosa, from the Italian side (as frontispice)" and "A Swiss diligence" the 3 other in-text ill. ‘A girl’s (wooden) shoe’, ’An Italian policeman, and ,The Edelweiss’ (flower).
