Bound in contemporary half leather, gilt title on spine, binding with some wear at extremeties. Interior fine. Bi-lingual edition of this 17th century neo latin poem. The first part of the book contains the French translation by doctor J.M. Caillau. The catalogue (or bibliography) signals the Leiden edition of 1655, in-4°, as the first edition of the Latin text. This late 18th century Bordeaux edition is rare."
