Printed in a small number of copies to be offered at the International Conference on the Book, organised in Antwerp at the Plantin-Moretus Museum in 1890. ( La Conférence du Livre). Nice unopened copy, only cover slightly discolored.

The first volumes were printed on laid paper. Some of the volumes are ex-library (but nevertheless very clean) and have a small stamp on the verso of the title or/and a printed label on the half title. Very nice set of the only edition of the correspondence of the Plantin press during the years 1555 - 1589..
