" Paris, apud Jérôme de Marnef et Guillaume Cavellat (widow of), 1595, format in-16°, (80) nn pp + (666) pp (lvs numbered 1- 333) + (6) nn pp (complete). Entirely printed in red and black, printed in two columns (Greek & Latin), with numerous small woodcut illustrations in the text. . Bound in contemporary brown morocco, floral fillet on both covers, traces of clasps, all edges gilt. decoratred spine with title (decoration and title allmost entirely gone). Binding with traces of use and small worming damage at lower end of spine. Still a very acceptable copy. From the library of the Saint-Sulpice Seminary; small circular stamp on title. Bound in at the end a Geneva imprint by Henricus Stephani from 1578 : Homerici centones, a veteribus vocati <Homerocentra>....edited by John Hay; 3 parts in 1 vol. (complete) (Bibliothèque de Genève GLN - 2678). The first work ( the Officium) is a very rare book ; it gives the Officium text in Latin and Greek. The USTC list only 2 copies (BN in Paris and the Bibliotheka Jagiellonska in Krakow , Poland). USTC 137226 ; Pettegree 68584. (updated October 2022)."
