Modern red cloth, original stiff wrapper bound in (wrapper with some marginal damage, interior fine). Complete survey of the woodcuts in use by the Verviers printer family De Pouille, active from 1698 until 1860. Many of the woodcuts served to illustrate obituary posters, a custom still in vogue at Verviers (as e.g. in Bruges and Venice). Rare, this album was printed in 250 numbered copies.
