Inscrit en portugais par l'auteur sur la page de faux-titre, avec son écriture bien reconnaissable : "Para a Mama Helena e o Tumang, com um grande, enorme, beijo do [???] 13/01/82" (pour Mama Helena e Tumang, avec un grand, un énorme bisou de [???], le 13 janvier 1982), avec une signature sur un morceau de papier inséré à la page de titre. Traduit du français au portugais, ce livre est à la fois une analyse du culte des Orixás en Afrique de l'Ouest et au Brésil et un album de photos de l'auteur. Abondamment illustré en noir et blanc, il saisit des instants de la religion de Xangô, Oxálá, Oxóssi et bien d'autres dieux du panthéon Ioruba. Léger manque en haut de la charnière avant, manques au tissu de l'intérieur de la chasse supérieure arrière, quelques griffures aux plats, nombreuses rousseurs aux parties blanches sans atteinte des photos. ** São Paulo, Editora Corrupio, 1981. Inscribed in Portuguese by the author on the half-title page, in his recognizable handwriting: "Para a Mama Helena e o Tumang, com um grande, enorme, beijo do [???] 13/01/82" (for Mama Helena e Tumang, with a big, huge kiss from [???], January 13, 1982), with a signature on a piece of paper inserted on the title page. Translated from French to Portuguese, this book is both an analysis of the cult of the Orixás in West Africa and Brazil and a photo album by the author. Profusely illustrated in black and white, it captures moments of the religion of Xangô, Oxálá, Oxóssi and many other gods of the Ioruba pantheon. Slight loss at the top of the front hinge, damages to the cloth inside the upper rear chase, some scratches on the covers, lots of foxing on the white parts of the pages without affecting the photos.‎
