‎Rare exemplaire de l'édition originale de ce grand classique. Etat très satisfaisant (reliure modeste lég. frottée, qq. annotations). L'auteur était un biologiste suisse, originaire de Genève. Le Muséum d'Histoire Naturelle de Genève conserve dans ses collections les photographies de plusieurs centaines de préparations microscopiques, réalisées au début du XXe siècle par ce scientifique.‎
