(ca.1860), oblong in-4°, 25,5 x 33,5 cm, engraved title-page + 28 steel-engraved views of Paris (158 x 228 mm), publisher's red half leather with orange coloured boards, gilt and blind ornaments on front cover. Binding rubbed and corners worn, but technically still sound. Interior fine notwitstanding the usual minor stains and fingermarks. Fine specimen of an album with views of Paris illustrating the first use of photography to make iconographical illustrations.
