Bound in contemporary half vellum, boards covered with blue marbled paper, with traces of ties. With a muscript label pasted on the first paste down : '' Mr. Joseph Mazoillier, Vice-Consul à Tarfoux Asie-Mineure''. The register contains 78 pages, all entirely blank. Some wear at the marbled boards, but on the whole very well preserved , srainless collection of early 19th c. handmade paper..

Bound in contemporary half vellum, edges painted yellow, the register contained 396 numbered pages (manuscript numbering in upper corner), 32 leaves have been removed removed at the beginning, the register is dated on the last leaf ; '' Bergerac (France) 1825 ''. Paper quality is beatiful strong laid paper, pure white. All the leaves bear a tax stamp at the upper margin which reduces the usable size of the leaves to 370 x 265 mm for a single leaf , or 370 x 530 ( for a double leaf, with binding pinholes in the middle). Watermark is a stylised tulip with 4 leaves within a coar of arms topped by a crown. ( ca. 115 x 65 mm) ."
