‎Paris Librairie Hachette 1922 Première édition. Un bel exemplaire de ce livre pour enfants, écrit par Ostroga et illustré pleine page en couleur et en noir et blanc par Thompson. Plusieurs des planches en noir et blanc ont été coloriées à la main après la publication (probablement par un amateur compétent). Notre exemplaire comporte un titre illustré en noir et blanc. Huit planches en couleur pleine page, 17 planches en noir et blanc (dont huit ont été habilement coloriées à la main), y compris les pages de garde. Illustration en couleur sur la première planche. Les planches sont un peu marquées et tachées, mais restent attrayantes. Elles sont maintenant recouvertes d'une protection d'archives. L'intérieur est en bon état, avec quelques marques et taches sur les bords des pages. La dernière page de garde présente un pli et une tache. 28 pages + planches. 25cm x 32.5cm.‎

‎First edition. An attractive copy of this children's book, written by Ostroga and with full page colour and b/w illustrations by Thompson. Several of the black and white plates have been hand coloured after publication (presumably by a skilled amateur). Our copy has Black and White illustrated title. Eight full page colour plates, Including end papers there are 17 Black and White plates (of which eight are skilfully hand coloured. Colour illustration to the front board. The boards are a little marked and stained, but still attractive. Now covered in archival protection. Internally in good shape, with a touch of marking / staining to the page edges. Final end paper has a crease and stain to it. 28 pages + plates. 25cm x 32.5cm.‎
