Outer pages a bit soiled, but still a good copy. This is the 35-38th issue ( fascicule in French) of the prestigeous Brussels' periodical devoted to the art of the book. It covers the whole subject : typography, lettering , binding, illustration...Its pre-war publications (before 1914) are rightly famous for the beautiful typographical execution. The project , animated by Henri Liebrecht, could rely on the aid of the main Brussels printing houses, paper and ink suppliers. ( e.g. Imprimerie Goossens, établ. Malvaux ...). They published 4 issues per year ( fascicules ).

In an original portfolio ( a bit worn and discoloured , spine damaged). The plates are loose ( as issued). The plates have a serpente with a printed caption and carry a number. For the year 1916 these numbers are 364 -> 387 ( missing are the plates 369->379, 382 ). The text leaves also complete , index leaf included . This years index covers also all previous years .
