The prestigeous Brussels' periodical '' Musée du Livre'' was devoted to the art of the book. It covers the whole subject : typography, lettering , binding, illustration...Its pre-war publications (before 1914) are rightly famous for the beautiful typographical execution. The project , animated by Henri Liebrecht, could rely on the aid of the main Brussels printing houses, paper and ink suppliers. ( e.g. Imprimerie Goossens, établ. Malvaux ...). They published 4 issues per year ( fascicules ), accompanied by plates . The year 1918 contains a special issue on Emile Verhaeren ( who died the previous year) . This is illustrated with a suite of 18 lithographs, unfortunately 2 are missing and 2 are browned..
