Paris, Typographie de Firmin Didot Frères, 1842, in-folio, 63 x 45 cm, loose leaved, kept in modern half cloth portfolio, printed original frontwrapper with cropped margins tipped on to a blank leaf + half title + title + 7 pp (all except half title with colourlithographed border) + (2)(explication des planches) + 8 colourlithographed plates + backwrapper (slightly cropped) tipped on to a blank leaf. Complete, with some minor stains, slightly dustsoiled margins of some plates, title page with a tear which was repaired with a stroke of paper at the verso, still an acceptable copy of a very early colourlithographed book. The plates were printed by Engelman & Co. Morey was an architect of Nantes who had won the '' Prix de Rome '' in 1831.
