The Geological Survey of India.An important contribution to the knowledge of the rich ammonite faunas of the Himalayas, described by the Hungarian palaeontologist Edmund Mojsivovics (1839-1907), and translated by the British palaeontologist Arthur H. Foord (1845-1933) and Mrs. A. H. Foord, from the German original which was published in 1896 in the Denkschriften of the kaiserliche Akademie der Wissenschaften in Vienna. Small stamp in the lower margin of the title page, and on the front pastedown. Short tear in the spine, second joint loose because a second paper was taken out of the binding causing some empty space, internally good, with fine clean plates.
