‎1900 viii, 196 p., 129 text figures, frontispiece, original green cloth with gilt title on spine. According to the authors, the abundance, year-round occurence and transparency of this "fly" made it peculiarly fit for study by naturalists. And this is what they did. Armorial bookplate on front paste-down, inscribed on front flyleaf by another former owner. Good copy.‎
