In recent green buckram with gilt title to spine. Advertisement after title page is a message from D. Webster (the printer) starts "The first of these Tracts, generally known by the title of Maule's History of the Picts, is printed from the edition of Robert Freebairn, Edinburgh, 1706..." 116 pages. 225 x 130 mm (8Ÿ x 5 inches). Book and contents in a very good condition. Two neat ex libris to front pastedown. One is from the author J. L. Weir, and the other more modern is an attractive stamped version. This tract has also been ascribed to Sir James Balfour.
