London, Edward Standford, (1866). 4 folded charts, measuring 24,5 x 65 cm. each, comprising over 800 figures, chiefly of Mollusca - from the Pleiocene to the Eocene -, engraved by J.W. Lowry after the drawings of C.R. Bone. Preserved within the original limp boards ( frayed along the edges; spine reinforced with a worn cloth strip; a few folds of the charts are a bit worn).
The cat. B.M. (N.H) III, 1186 list the same 4 charts under a slight different title. No doubt the same work, but probably a second run of the plates. A very acceptable copy of this rare work.
