‎Paris, Leroy Libraire, 1788 ; in-8, 344 pp., reliure d'époque demi-cuir brun, dos lisse orné (charnières fendues, frottement) tranches mouchetées. Édition originale en français. Traduit de l'allemand par J.-B. Mercier. Johann Georg (Jean-George) Zimmermann fut un médecin suisse du XVIIIe siècle. Il a fit ses études à Göttingen, puis il voyagea aux Pays-Bas et en France, repartit à Berne et publia son ouvrage sur la dysenterie. Ce texte La Solitude, très inspiré de Rousseau, peut être considéré comme précurseur du romantisme. État moyen.‎
