‎Paris, Pissot, 1780 ; in-12, 323 pp. + 414 pp. + 444 pp. + 448 pp., reliures demi-veau, dos lisse. Les 4 volumes. De son vrai nom Ludovico Ariosto, l'Arioste est un poète de la Renaissance italienne. Il servit le cardinal d'Este et entra ensuite au service de son frère. Le 'Roland furieux' ('Orlando furioso' est une parodie de poème chevaleresque. L'Arioste en donna plusieurs versions au fil et à mesure des éditions. Bon état.‎
