" Toulouse, chez Noel-Etienne Sens (imprimeur), chez Auguste Gaude ( libraire), 1810-1811, complete in 26 vols, in-12°, 18 x 10,5 cm, with 51 illustrations outside the text ( folding maps, tables...). Uncut and unopened copy. Sewn, in the original publisher's blind grey wrapper. Label on spine with manuscript indication of volume number. Small library label with a shelf number on the frontcover. Some of the volumes have an oval rubber stamp on the half-title ( ex-library of a Roman Catholic institute). Spines and uncut margins are a bit dustsoiled, some slight dog-earing at the covers of a few volumes. Notwithstanding these defects still a fine complete copy of this collection of Jesuit letters. The work is preserved in 3 purposely made boxes of equal size ; each volume is protected by a modern paper cover, with a volume-label on the spine. Rare complete set of an early 19th c. edition of the famous Jesuit Letters. The letters have been geographically arranged by the editor.."
