Jackson, was a Canadian naturlist and gifted botanical artist. This work consist of Henry Jackson's mycological excursions ('les carnets de M. Jackson') made between 1931 and 1954. The water colours he made during these excursion are reproduced here life-size and are among the finest mycological illustrations ever made in Canada. This works in finely printed with the 'Cartier' type by Carl Dair on 'Byronic' paper, the plates printed on 'Rolland Gloss', all Canadian made.
