Bound in contemporary full roan ; with title label on spine ( only partially preserved); leather of binding is worn and scratched but binding is technically in good order. Marbled edges, interior fine, no provenance indication.."

Cameræ Apostholicæ, engraved frontispiece (burning of books) + title with engraved vignette + (8)nn pp + xxxvi pp + 304 pp. Bound in contemporary full calf, raised gilt spine with title label . Edges red spickled.. Binding with some wear, top turn-in damaged, upper jount weak but still holding. Interior fine. No ex-library markings (the manuscript name of a previous owner has been tipped over with a small stroke of paper. This one of the very rare editions with was ''embellished'' with a frontispiece engraving which shows the actual burning of books. Signed in the plate ''Gioan Fabri fec[it] ''.
