Otto von Wätjen (1881-1942) est un peintre et dessinateur allemand. Emigré à Paris, il fréquente les artistes du Dôme et épousa le 21 juin 1914 Marie Laurencin (l'ancienne amie d'Apollinaire), qui fut élève comme lui à l'école Humbert. Malgré leur divorce, Marie Laurencin reste en contact avec lui jusqu'à sa mort, l'aidant même financièrement (Osterwalder, Dictionnaire des illustrateurs 1890-1945). Quelques rousseurs pâles, dos assombri. Libraire membre du S.L.A.M. (Syndicat national de la Librairie Ancienne et Moderne) et de la L.I.L.A. (Ligue Internationale de la Librairie Ancienne).
