‎2. Leipzig, F.A. Brockhaus, 1868, large in-4°, 32,5 x 24 cm, (8)nn pp + 350 pp + (2)nn pp ( additional index), bound in contemporary brown quarter morocco, gilt title on raised spine. Binding with minimal traces of use, interior with some minor foxing spots at some pages. Still a fine copy of the first and original edition. Text in German. The catalogue is finely illustrated with very sharp wood cut engravings. This World Exhibition was only 4rd ( the second organised in Paris) . The main subjects were the applied arts, which are extensively illustrated in this catalogue.‎
