The besieged fortifications are Menen , Ieper ( Ypres ) , Knokke , Veurne , Tournai , Oudenaarde , Dendermonde , Oostende , Nieuwpoort , Ath , Brussel , Antwerpen, Mons, Saint-Guislain , Charleroi , Namur , Sluis , Sas van Gent , Philipine , Hulst , Axel , Bergen op Zoom , Lillo and Maastricht.
