Cream colored publisher's cloth, no dustjacket (cloth soiled, cancellation stamp of library on title page, interior fine). Loosely inserted is a typescript letter with the holograph signature of the archbischop of Cologne, Cardinal Frings, in which he asks another cardinal for support for the canonization procedure of the abbess Adelheid of Vilich. Publishing the book (Positio) is the first step. The introduction of the book is in Italian, some of the documents published are in Latin , German or Italian. Much attention is given to the material relics which are present at e.g. the Adelheid chapel at Pützchen near Köln. A summary in German is loosely inserted. Curious 20th century document on the canonization of a 10th century German nun.
