10. Lutetiae Parisiorum (Paris), apud J.P. Migne editorem, 1866, 8 volumes in-4°, 27,5 x 17,5 cm, printed in two columns, each volume ca. 1500 col., the last volume contains the sextuple index. Uniformly bound in brown polished calf, raised back with a green and a red label, edges sprinkled, fourfold gilt fillet and bindstamped floral ornaments on both covers, ex-library stamp and numbers on half title, some foxing, mostly on the first and last leaves of each volume, bindings with some minor wear or scratches but a very nice and decorative set. Excellent 19th-century edition of this dictionary on Roman Catholic canonical law and theology. The first edition dates from 1746 (Bologna 3 vols). It was several times reprinted and re-edited. The author used for this compilation the texts of over 700 authors. This edition by J.P.Migne, published in his series ''Bibliothecae Cleri Universae'' was based on the reworked text made by the monks of Monte Casini under the auspices of cardinal Luigi Lambruschini.
