First appearance of Gustav Fechners' (written under the pseudonym of ""Dr. Mises) humorous work on the anatomy of angels. Gustav Theodor Fechner was a German philosopher, physicist, and psychologist who is best known for his work in psychophysics, particularly his theory known as ""Fechner's Law."" Fechner's Law is a principle that describes the relationship between the physical intensity of a stimulus and the psychological perception of that stimulus.

Fechner is known as the founder of psychophysics, his theory of psycho-physical paralellism, as the first universal indeterminist and by the so-called ""Fecnner-Weber Law"". - Freud said:""I was always open to the Ideas of Fechner and have followed that thinker upon many importent points."" (Freud, 1925 p. 86).
