The uncommon first edition of Fabricius’s work on eloquence based on philosophical principles containing various forms of discourse, including letters, speeches and sermons. Johann Andreas Fabricius (1711 – 1791) was a German philosopher and professor at the University of Jena, where he made important contributions to the fields of rhetoric, philosophy and pedagogy.
