Espanet studied homeopathy with Charg, Rapou, Ptroz and Tessier. Was physician at the agricultural colony founded by the Trappists at Staouli (Algeria), but for health reasons he returned to France (Montlimar). During the period 1851 and 1881 he published extensively on homeopathy. His "Pratique de l'Homoeopathie (1847) was many times re-published until at least 1950. The 5th edition of 1911 as quoted by Rozet A230 apparently don't exist.
