Enschedé en Zonen, 1951, in-8°, 26,5 x 17,5 cm, (8)nn pp + 184 pp, printed in red and black on heavy paper (150 gr.), kept in a publisher's red cloth ringbinder, binder with smooth gilt decorated spine. Title on spine; ''Eerste deel Monotype , Linotype''. (On the spine is marked that this is the first part of a new series of type specimen catalogues). Very nicely preserved. This is a high quality specimen catalogue printed with the utmost care . For most specimens the company gives a brief description of the history of the type and the designer. (See Lane & Lommen item 77 )."
