" Paris, Belin-Leprieur et Morizot, s.d. (ca. 1850-1860), in-12°, 124 x 80 mm , 764 pp, with a steel-engraved frontispiece , a chromolithographic title + 3 steel-engraved plates. Binding; Bound in contemporary (most probably publisher's binding) dark blue velvet, with silver clasp and silver frame work around both covers, tail and top of spine also with a silver lining, all edges gilt, title (Paroissien) in silver letters mounted on smooth spine, kept in a simple board box. Exceptionally fine preserved velvet binding on a French mid 19th century devotional book. Nearly mint copy, in a delicate velvet-silver binding. Rare in this mint state of preservation."

(approbatio 1853), 13,5 x 9 cm, double-page color lithographic frontispiece (Lambert pinx. , Engelman & Graf impr.), each page with a decorative border. 667 pp., with 3 full page chromolithographs of which two printed by Moulin, three full page steelengravings (Rouargues), num. vignettes.Contemporary full brown morroco, both covers with an intricate pattern initials in blindtooling in the central recess, gilt metal clasps and corner protections, all edges gilt and marbled, endpapers in red watered silk decorated with gilt fillet. Perfectly preserved luxurious mid 19th century French binding on a quite rare devotional edition, kept in the original silk lined box (with the same initials)..
7. Tours, Mâme, 1879, pet. in-8°, 14 x 8,5 cm, xi + 780 + (8)pp, reliure en plein maroquin blue, plats richement décorés avec filets dorés et ornaments ainsi que deux initiales (E.H.), tranches peints en blue avec un décor de petits étoiles en or. (bel exemplaire).
