This important basic work on sexual research and moral history was founded by Friedrich S. Krauss as a continuation of Kryptadia and published from Volume IV onwards in collaboration with Bernhard Hermann Obst. It was published from 1904 to 1913 in Leipzig by the Deutsche Verlag-Aktien-Gesellschaft and from volume VII onwards by the Ethnologischer Verlag. The writings were published privately and were only intended for scholars, not for the book trade.rnIt is one of the most comprehensive collections on ethnological sexual research. Numerous outstanding representatives of ethnology, medicine and law contributed to it. Thomas Achelis, Friedrich J.
