‎" Brüssel ( Bruxelles ), Deutsche Luftwaffe, 1941, small in-4°, 24,5 x 18 cm, (40)nn pp + (32) nn pp (publicity ) , sewn, orig. stiff wrapper (wrapper dustsoiled and with some small foxing spots). Rare German art exhibition catalogue with works of art by German soldiers and airmen, organised in German occupied Belgium. (Immediately afterwards this exhibition was staged in Paris, a similer catalogue exists). The catalogue opens with a full page portrait of Hermann Göring, on second place a portrait sculpture by Herbert Volwahsen of General der Flieger Wimmer. Sculptor Volwahsen exhibits also e.g. a portrait sculpture of the air ace Werner Mölders . He died barely one month after the exhibition. On the illustration someone noted his death in pencil ; + 20/11/41."‎
