( 1802-1803 ), format oblong in-8°, 182 x 263 mm, engraved title page + (2)(blank) + 20 pp of engraved music (pages numbered 2-21) + (1)(blank), bound in later half vellum with marbled boards. Leather title label on front cover. Uncut copy, margins and titlepage a bit dustsoiled. Extremely rare musical score (no other copy found in any library - in oct. 2023 ) of a 13 year old French prodigy. She was to marry at first ( on dec. 23 1809 ) Louis-Michel Letort de Lorville , a general in the French army who died in the aftermath of the Battle of Waterloo. She re-married Victor Destutt de Tracy (1781 - 1864) son of the philosopher Antoine Destutt de Tracy (1754 - 1836). By her marriage she became also sister in law of George Washington de Lafayette (1779 - 1849) , only surviving son of the marquis de Lafayette (1757 - 1834). Stendhal , in his ''Souvenirs d'Egotisme'' mentions her as being the daughter in law of his friend Tracy. He was a frequent visitor of her Salon in Paris."
