Printed in 100 numbered copies, signed by the artist in the colophon. Kept in a pink coloured paper wrapper, in a red cloth portfolio which fits into a blue coloured cloth slipcase. Except for the outer blue slipcase which carries 4 small stains the publication is in perfect condition. Jo Delahaut was born in Liège and studied at the local Art Academy. He became a professor at the famous '' La Cambre '' academy in Brussels. In 1952 he was a co-founder of the Belgian art circle '' Art Abstrait'' and became one of the most emblematical figures of the so called '' geometrical abstraction '' ; the style which he used to produce the silkprints. In this publication , illustrated with double page abstract silk prints, he publishes some of his ideas about abstract art and the relation between the artist and his art. (Text in French).
